Just in time for Father’s Day, below are some of the most recently popular cosmetic surgeries for men.

• Liposuction – Simply put, liposuction refers to procedures that remove targeted fat deposits and sculpt the surrounding area. Some available procedural options include Tumescent liposuction, Smartlipo, and VASER liposelection. Tumescent liposuction describes a technique where a sterile saline solution (with a local anesthetic) is injected into the area(s) to be sculpted Smartlipo is a power-assisted procedure wherein a laser is utilized to gently heat and melt fat. VASER liposelection, an option for more delicate areas (like the chin, neck, and arms), emulsifies and breaks down fat with the help of ultrasound energy vibration.
• Rhinoplasty – Rhinoplasty refers to the restructuring or correcting of an individual’s nose. This type of plastic surgery can correct such problems as a deviated septum or other congenital defect, respiratory blockages or difficulties, instances of nasal trauma, and even a prior failed surgery.
• Eyelid surgery – Also referred to as blepharoplasty, eyelid surgery is the meant to tighten and restore shape to the eyelids, while eliminating droopy or hooded eyelids, fatty bags, and asymmentries.
• Face lifts – A face lift, also known as a rhytidectomy, involves the tightening of skin in the facial region to reduce or remove the appearance of deepening lines or wrinkles between the nose and mouth, sagging cheek skin, and excess skin and/or fat on the jowls and neck. Oftentimes, board-certified plastic surgeons will offer both mini and full face lift options.
